Rusper is on the watershed between the River Arun to the west and the River Mole to the east, with predominantly weald clay soils. The morning walk of about four miles will take us to the east. We will pass through ancient woodland where we should see some wonderful spring flowers. We will return to The Star Inn for lunch via the ancient church of St Mary Magdalene.
The afternoon walk is just over three miles to the west of Rusper through attractive woodland and farmland.
