This massive caterpillar was spotted at the campsite this morning happily munching through one of the trees we have recently planted around The Secret Campsite to provide some seclusion to the pitches. It is great to see such a mixture of species around the camping meadow as long as they don’t devour all of the trees we planted. If anyone has any idea what moth or butterfly this one will turn into I would love to know.
