Last Sunday Michael and a group of entomologists from the RSPB and Sussex Wildlife Trust along with some independent experts congregated at the Secret campsite to go on a bug hunt along the old railway track that runs through the campsite.
The weather was very cold for the time of year so very few insects were out enjoying the profusion of blackthorn flowers that infest the walk up to Barcombe.
I took a quick snap whilst they were enjoying a cup of coffee at the campsite before venturing off onto the old railway track that leads up to Barcombe but is an SNCI and a great wildlife haven
