We went up to the farm business innovation show recently in our quest to find some like minded people with land who could create their own idyllic campsite along the lines of our campsite near Lewes in East Sussex.
The show was great fun and my sister Liz and I met heaps of people interested in finding out more about starting their own campsite, from Inverness and Anglesey to Penzance.
There are a few things we need, hospitality in spades, a great location coupled with a site having plenty of scope to become a tranquil haven for wildlife.
If you know anyone we would love to hear from them.
At this time of year everything has slowed down here, apart from the weird structure that left Jason’s office yesterday morning en route to an installation in the south west.
Here are a few pictures of the sheep hard at work around the camping meadow and a view down the old railway track that links us to Barcombe and the charms of the royal oak pub.
It is very peaceful after all.
