Yesterday we were visited by Lucy Townsend who runs the business member section at Sussex Wildlife Trust.
It’s the first time we’ve met and Lucy was popping in to say hello and collect the donations tub we have on our reception desk.
This year we raised £58.63 in addition to the donations we collect when guests book their camping trips online via our own website.
We discussed hosting a business members event here sometime in the autumn. It would be a great chance for members of the trust to meet each other and enjoy a cup of tea around the campfire.
Some might even stay the night and enjoy the sounds of the deer rut at night, or the dawn chorus next morning.
