Last week we had a visit from Ovesco who are the community energy group who put the solar panels on our barn roof at the Secret Campsite. They wanted to inspect the panels to make sure they were all undamaged and producing lots of electricity.
We use the power generated by the barn roof solar pv array to heat the hot water for our showers. With 19KW of power on a hot day, this means we pretty much always have lots of hot water on tap for campers to enjoy for washing up and showering.
Whilst James was here with the drone he very kindly offered to take a few aerial shots of the campsite which we think are great.
