This is a boring post so please excuse me.

We have been invaded by Goats rue around the campsite and this is an invasive plant that can be toxic to livestock grazing on it. I spoke with a friend at the Wildlife Trust and he recommended that we got on top of it at the campsite as it can spread quite quickly.

Goats rue is an attractive plant bearing swathes of beautiful white flowers but it killed one of our sheep two winters ago so I am diligently trying to eradicate it.

The best way to do this is to repeatedly strim it before oit flowers and sets seed. Sadly it set seed 2 years ago and i have been fighting it ever since. Hopefully the last two years activity is starting to make a dent in its energy
