An evening and next morning event, run by local wildlife expert Michael Blencowe from the Sussex Wildlife Trust. The event will involve setting moth traps and using bat detectors during the evening then opening the traps in the morning and setting a Purple Emperor butterfly trap on the campsite. The event will end with a walk around the local nature reserve in the woodland adjacent to The Secret Campsite to see if we can find adders and other species in the adjacent woodland. Donations to The Sussex Wildlife Trust and a breakfast on the Thursday morning. Camping pitches available by calling 01273 401 100

The Secret Campsite is 4 miles north of Lewes in East Sussex
